London Clubs with Live Entertainment — Shows, Performers, and Showclubs
Some clubs just play music. These clubs put on a show. Fire breathers, aerial acrobats, live singers — the London venues where entertainment is the main event.
Beyond the DJ Booth
Most nightclubs give you a DJ, a dance floor, and a bar. That's fine. But some London venues have built their entire identity around live entertainment — professional performers, theatrical productions, and shows that blur the line between nightclub and theatre.
If you want your night out to feel like an event, these are the clubs to know.
Cirque Le Soir — The Circus Nightclub
Cirque Le Soir is the most famous entertainment nightclub in London. The concept is simple: take a circus and put it inside a nightclub. The execution is extraordinary.
What you'll see: Fire breathers, contortionists, stilt walkers, snake charmers, burlesque dancers, sword swallowers. Performers roam the venue throughout the night — they don't just perform on a stage, they weave through the tables and the dance floor.
The music: Hip-hop and RnB. The DJs are quality, but the performers are the star.
The vibe: Wild, high-energy, theatrical. This is not a chill night out. Cirque Le Soir is full throttle from the moment you walk in.
Best night: Saturday. The full production is out.
Tables from: £1,000. Book on WhatsApp.
The London Reign — The Showclub
The London Reign has the highest production value of any nightclub in London. This is a showclub — the performances are choreographed, rehearsed, and performed to a standard that would hold up in any theatre.
What you'll see: Aerial acrobats performing on silks above the dance floor. Live vocalists. Choreographed dance numbers. Fire acts. The shows happen throughout the night between DJ sets, and the transitions are seamless.
The music: Commercial, house, and hip-hop. The music is the connective tissue between performances.
The vibe: Glamorous and extravagant. Think Las Vegas meets Mayfair. The venue itself is grand — high ceilings, a central stage, tables arranged for maximum sightlines.
Best night: Saturday for the full production. Thursday is also excellent with a slightly more intimate crowd.
Tables from: £1,000. Book tables near the stage for the best view. Book on WhatsApp.
Lio Club London — Dinner, Show, Nightclub
Lio Club London does something none of the other venues on this list do: it combines dinner, live entertainment, and nightclub into a single, seamless evening.
What you'll see: Lio starts as a restaurant. Between courses, performers take the floor — singers, dancers, acrobats. As dinner winds down, the tables get cleared and the room transforms into a full nightclub. The transition from dining to clubbing is what makes Lio unique.
The music: Commercial and house, building through the evening.
The vibe: Glamorous and Ibiza-influenced (Lio originated in Ibiza). The dinner crowd stays for the party, which means the atmosphere builds organically rather than hitting you all at once.
Best night: Saturday. But genuinely excellent any night they're open.
Tables from: £1,000. Book on WhatsApp.
