Best Clubs Near Piccadilly and Leicester Square — Where to Go After Dinner
Finished dinner in the West End? Just seen a show? Here are the best clubs within walking distance of Piccadilly and Leicester Square.
The West End to Mayfair Pipeline
If you're in the Piccadilly or Leicester Square area — after dinner, after a show, after drinks — you're within walking distance of some of the best nightclubs in London. Mayfair is right there, and the transition from West End evening to Mayfair nightlife is one of the best moves in London.
Here's what's close and what's worth your time.
Within 5 Minutes of Piccadilly Circus
The London Reign
The London Reign is on Piccadilly itself. You could literally walk from Piccadilly Circus station to the door in two minutes. It's the most convenient option — and it happens to be one of the most spectacular clubs in London. Aerial shows, live entertainment, and a grand venue.
Open: Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 22:00.
Cuckoo Club
Cuckoo Club sits on Swallow Street, which runs directly off Piccadilly. Two minutes from the circus, two floors of different music. House downstairs, hip-hop up. Easy to find, easy to get into with a guestlist.
Open: Wednesday to Saturday from 22:00.
Dear Darling
Dear Darling is in Mayfair proper, about a five-minute walk from Piccadilly. If you want cocktails and late-night atmosphere rather than a full club, this is the move. Opulent, intimate, and transitions beautifully from bar to late-night energy.
Open: Wednesday to Saturday from 21:00.
Within 10 Minutes
Libertine
Libertine is a short walk into Mayfair. Futuristic design, serious sound system, and one of the most consistently packed dance floors in the area. If you want high energy and a proper party, Libertine delivers.
Open: Wednesday to Saturday from 22:30.
TABU London
TABU is in the heart of Mayfair, about an eight-minute walk from Piccadilly. The Japanese underground theme is unique, the crowd is fashion-forward, and Thursday nights are exceptional.
Open: Thursday to Saturday from 22:00.
Tape London
Tape London on Hanover Square is about ten minutes from Piccadilly. It's the most exclusive club in Mayfair — members only, invite-only energy. You'll need a table booking or promoter contact to get in.
Open: Wednesday to Saturday from 22:00.
Maddox
Maddox is a ten-minute walk into Mayfair. Start with Italian dinner if you haven't eaten, then head downstairs for house music. The dinner-to-dance flow is perfect for West End to Mayfair evenings.
Open: Wednesday to Saturday from 22:00.
From Leicester Square
Leicester Square is slightly further from Mayfair's core, but you're still looking at 10-15 minutes on foot. The easiest route is through Piccadilly Circus and into Mayfair from there.
Cirque Le Soir on Ganton Street (near Carnaby Street) is actually closer to Leicester Square than most Mayfair clubs — about an eight-minute walk. If you want entertainment and hip-hop, it's the closest major venue.
